Introduced at the RTDA show in 2003, Bahia Blu was well received due to its craftsmanship and potent, yet balanced character.
Bahia cigars came to light during the cigar boom in the 1990s. Their initial releases consisted of Bahia, Bahia Gold, and Bahia Maduro, all of which were well rated by industry publications. These blends paved the path for the Bahia line, which now contains more than 6 different, successful brands. A Nicaraguan handmade concoction of 6-year-old fillers stemming from Esteli, Jalapa, and Leon, Bahia Blu is an incredibly smooth blend featuring a Corojo wrapper with 3 years of age. This blend creates a medium-bodied array of pepper with a sweet core of cedar nuances that entertain the palate with a medium finish. In order to create perfect balance, these cigars are aged for at least 180 days in Spanish cedar, allowing all of the complexities from the Nicaraguan tobaccos to properly marry, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience. |
