In the Valley of Elah was filmed in Morocco, it is the only military related movie I can think of (know of really) that was.

It did, however, look very familiar and when I realized what movie it was from, it all made sense. I really liked this movie quite a few years ago, I think I first saw it when I was about 10 or so.
